PS Vita is out!

October 5, 2011 By admin 1 Comment

The long awaited PS VITA is already out!

The until now nicknamed NGP has now been known as by Sony as PlayStation Vita or PS Vita (Vita which suggests life). PlayStation Vita will be the successor for the PSP or PlayStation Portable and tummy flatness, although in 2 models once it’s released.

The PS Vita WiFi Model would retail at $249.99 once it hits the retail stores while the PS Vita 3G (with WiFi also) version would retail at $299.99. The Nintendo 3DS retailed at $250 in the event it came out, however it is about 6 months prior to competition. With that time, I’m wondering the amount of the 3DS price could have been down, and would the Vita’s superior graphics overshadow the 3DS’s way to enter in the market early? Gamestop.com recently price PS Vita games for example Uncharted: Golden Abyss and LittleBigPlanet at $39.99.

PS Vita is equipped with a broad OLED screen, a GPS, motions sensors you’ll take pride in incorporates dual touch pads and cameras. Much like the 3DS’s Street Pass, PlayStation Vita has something similar called “Near” that tells you what nearby PlayStation Vita owners are playing.

Aside from this, the PS Vita is backed by a lots of big game development studios already including Rockstar, Capcom, SEGA, EA, Epic Games, and Activision among others. The revolutionary portable get a port of Street Fighter X Tekken, which is soon to be released with the PS3 and Xbox.

There won’t be a TV out or HDMI support for this system, they’ve got decided to take that out I guess to lessen on the price. As for backwards compatibility, it would seem like gone will be the problem playing legacy titles which comes in the PSN.
